Dreams...

Had a bad dream last night. Okay, well, it was this morning.

Started off with the housemate leaving for something. I don't know. I just know I got a hug and he was gone. I go out to mow the lawn, and some older lady walks up to the house. She says she's his grandmother. "Okay" I think, "I'll just let him know she's here" and I tell her I'll go get him, and leave.
Somehow or another I wind up back at my old school in my ROTC unit. I claim I'm dropping in on my old teachers and slip inside one of the offices to say 'hi'. Suddenly my housemate opens the door and slips in. I grab his jacket and gently pull him close and I introduce him to Chief, while warding off his attempts to grope at me (like that would ever happen :/).
He goes to leave and I follow him, but get caught in the crowd and I lose him. I start walking home (because in dreams all places are walking distance) when he pulls up in his Boxster S, and tells me he'll drive me back home so I don't have to walk. I get in, of course, because I trust him with my life, and always will.
We wind up stopped at a light, and for some reason, he gets out of the car and doesn't pull the brake, and hasn't put the car in park. We're on a hill, so obviously I start going downhill with the car. I scramble over to the driver's seat and guide the car through the turns until there's a safe place to stop and turn around, which happens to be a long way.
I finally get it turned around, and I try to get back to the light. I turn on some street, and start losing control. Suddenly, I'm not in a car, I'm on a bike, going towards someone's house. I have no brakes, so I try slowing down with my feet, but I'm going too fast.
I hit a door to a shed, and leap off my bike for fear of hurting myself. Good thing, too, because the bike crashed down 20 concrete stairs onto a concrete floor. I go down to retrieve my bike because I didn't see a car in the drive to tell someone I was there and explain what happened.
In the basement, I find a couple of cats in a small crate, both starving and having obvious health problems, a large dog in a small cage, growling and biting at me through the wire, and a raccoon, scared and skinny, hiding in the corner on a 2 foot leash.
I grab the bike and go up the stairs, only to find a large man, about 6 foot tall, and a bit large around, gray hair, Caucasian, with a large bald spot, in the back yard. He looks over and stares at me, a shovel in his hand. I explain that I had lost the brakes on my bike, and that it fell into the shed, and I was just getting it and I'd be on my way.
The man glared at me and started interrogating me. Asking what I had seen, if I had heard any animals down there. I explained that I had jumped off my bike and just ran down there, grabbed it and came back.
I started walking away as the man walked closer to me. I felt terrified of him. The way he was glaring at me and holding the shovel. I walked faster and the man suddenly leaped and pushed me over. He looked down at me and I hear "You'll regret your little "accident" soon enough" as I see him raise the shovel, and the last thing I remember before I woke up was the shovel coming down at my head, and thinking "Will my housemate ever know what happened to me?"
I think that would be the scariest thing.. not knowing if someone I cared about would know what happened to me.

I really don't like it when I have dreams. :/
